It's tough for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

We're talking about the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the record chasers, are the only things left for a side that has achieved everything.

It needed until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It's difficult for their hitters to hold a record if not provided the possibility.

Finally, the consequence of Australia giving up 330 runs was leader Alyssa Healy getting a chance to create her newest gem.

Then best known as the 19-year-old niece of famous ex Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she debuted in 2010 after her country didn't secure either of the 20 or 50-over World Cups conducted earlier and has witnessed all through 15 trophy-laden years since.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm happy we have the belief to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we are confident we can achieve it."

These statements will be the final thing rival teams at this World Cup want to hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this success succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they were eliminated from last year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - a game Healy couldn't play because of damaged tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the first time at a major tournament.
